Chardon beat Father Badin 21-14 Friday to capture the Ohio Division III high school football championship. It is the second straight state title for the Hilltoppers, who entered the game ranked No. 16 in the latest High School Football America Ohio Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
The win is the 28th straight for Chardon. The Hilltoppers are the first Ohio high school football team to finish a perfect 16-0.
