Cherry Creek finishes 2023 in a familiar position, No. 1 in the High School Football America Colorado Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Bruins have been at the top of our statewide rankings since September 10, 2019.

After a first round bye, the four-time defending 5A champs will face the winner of Legacy/Eaglecrest matchup.

No. 2 Columbine, No. 3 Pine Creek, No. 4 Ralston Valley, No. 5 Arapahoe, No. 6 Regis Jesuit and No. 7 Valor Christian all have first round byes in the 5A tournament.

In the 4A tournament, No. 8 Erie and No. 9 Palmer Ridge gets first round byes.
