Bird City Cheylin won its first-ever Kansas high school football championship Saturday with a 57-8 win over defending 6-player state champ Cunningham. On a snow covered field at Memorial Stadium in Dodge City, the Cougars ended the game with 1:14 to play in third quarter on the 45-point margin rule.
