High school football in Illinois won’t start until February 15, 2021, but the National Football League‘s Chicago Bears are unveiling a new program that will honor high school football players who make a positive impact in their community and school.

The Bears are partnering with Athletico Physical Therapy to honor student-athletes with the Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star Award. It salutes student-athletes who exemplify service, leadership, and character. The Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star takes the lessons learned through playing the sport of football and using them to benefit their community.
