It’s playoff time in Alaska with the Division I quarterfinals and Division II and III semifinals this weekend.
Colony, No. 4 in the latest High School Football America Alaska Top 5, and No. 5 West opened the Division I playoffs with victories Friday night.

Colony cruised to a 47-0 win over East, which sends Knights into the semis where they’ll meet the winner of Saturday’s game between East and Chugiak. East is No. 1 in our Alaska Top 5.
West crushed Wasilla 43-8. Next week, the Eagles get the winner of Bartlett, No. 2 in our state rankings, and Service.
