Columbus wins Wisconsin Division 4 state championship in battle of unbeatens

Columbus beat three-time defending champ Catholic Memorial 23-21 at Camp Randall Stadium for the 2022 Wisconsin Division 4 state championship. Both teams entered the game 13-0.

Columbus senior Corbin Hynes kicked a game-winning 31-yard field goal with 4 minutes, 43 seconds remaining to snap CM’s 27-game win streak

The state championship is the first for Columbus since 1996.
