It’s time for Turkey Day football in Connecticut. The Turkey Bowl between top-ranked Darien and No. 7 New Canaan headlines the list of Thursday games. It will be the 91st all-time meeting between the two.

Darien, the three-time state champs, trail in the all-time series 50-38-2. The game has been played on Thanksgiving since 1994 with New Canaan leading the Turkey Bowl series 14-9-1.

The game is made bigger by the fact that New Canaan needs a victory to qualify for the Class LL postseason.
