Give Corona del Mar credit for scheduling a tough road game against Tesoro. Friday night the Sea Kings, who won the CIF Division III title last year, found the Titans not very hospitable as the home team snapped CDM’s 30 game win streak that was the longest active streak in California.

Corona del Mar struck quickly in the third quarter the tie the game at 14, but Tesoro junior QB Devon Modster threw for two touchdowns and ran for one in the 28-14 victory, which was the team’s third straight win after a season opening loss at La Mirada.
