Chase Garbers of Corona del Mar has punched his ticket to the Elite 11 quarterback competition this summer at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon.  Garbers qualified Sunday along with Bishop Gorman‘s (Nevada) Tate Martell at The Opening Los Angeles Regional.

Garbers, who is listed as a Pro-Style quarterback, was named as the event’s QB MVP.

The 6-3, 210 senior-to-be has four scholarship offers so far — Boise State, Boston College, Colorado State and Washington State.

According to Garber’s MaxPreps stats, as a sophomore and junior, he completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for 4,075 yards with 44 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

Right now, Garbers is one of three quarterbacks qualified for the 2016 Elite 11.
