With Utah kicking-off the 2020 high school football season this weekend, hopes were high for a perfect start to the season during the coronavirus pandemic. However, those hopes took a hit when it was announced that the game between No. 2 Bingham and Weber, scheduled for Friday night, is now canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests.
KUTV is reporting that three Bingham players have tested positive, which led to the cancellation.
The first #COVID casualty of the HS season. Per Jordan School District, Weber at Bingham cancelled after 3 positive tests from Bingham.
