Daniel beats Camden in OT to win South Carolina AAA high school football championship

After losing a two-score lead in the fourth quarter, Daniel (15-0) beat Camden 49-48 in overtime to win their third state title in the last four years. All three of those championship wins came against Camden.

Saturday night, at South Carolina State University, Daniel scored first in overtime to take a 49-42 lead. After scoring on its first possession, Camden decided to go for two. The Lion defense rose to the challenge and stopped Camden short of the goal line.
