Friday marks the start of Division I pool play for the 64 teams entered in the Texas 7on7 championships. Day 1 of the championships in College Station set the championship brackets in Division II and III.

In Division II, defending champ Graham won’t be able to defend its title. The Steers weren’t able to make it out of pool play, which dropped them into Friday’s consolation bracket.

In Division III, Sonora is the top seed in the one-and-done championship bracket, which includes all sixteen qualifiers. Sonora was a perfect 3-0 during Thursday’s pool play. Palmer and Gunter each won their pools with 3-0 records. In Pool H, Lovelady, Tenaha and Wellington all finished 2-1.
