As the city of Wynne, Arkansas continues to mourn the loss of life from last Friday’s deadly tornado that killed four, residents are also coming together to try to salvage the local high school that was severely damaged along with the nearby football field.

The EF-3 tornado ripped up part of the turf at Yellowjacket Stadium (below) along with destroying the scoreboard.

Below is what the stadium looked like before the deadly twister touched down.

In December, the school named Clay Totty as their new coach. According to KAIT-TV, Totty has been commuting between Wynne and his old school Rison, since accepting the job.

Totty, who is one of the best coaches in the state, will now have more to do than X’s and O’s. Totty is currently the all-time winningest coach with a record of 242-65-1 and two state championships. His win total is best for 11th all-time in Arkansas.
