Delta wins its first Colorado high school football championship in 60+ years

For the first time since 1960, Delta is a Colorado high school football champ. Saturday, the Panthers beat Rifle 54-14 to capture the 2A state championship at Grand Junction’s Stocker Stadium.

It was the second time this season that Delta beat Rifle. The Panthers won 28-7 in September.
