DePaul Catholic got redemption on Red Bank Catholic Friday night in their New Jersey Non-Public Group B state championship game at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets. The Spartans beat RBC 19-17, which reversed last year’s title game outcome (13-7) won by the Caseys.
Red Bank Catholic, ranked No. 155 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, jumped out to a 10-0 lead. DePaul then scored 19 unanswered points.
