The speculation on where former DeSoto head coach Todd Peterman would land is over. Peterman has agreed to become the new head coach at Brewer High School in Fort Worth.

DeSoto, who led DeSoto to its first state title takes over for Wade Griffin who was 20-23 in four years. Griffin left to take the head coaching job at Giddings.

Peterman was 32-8 in three years as DeSoto’s head coach, but he faced turmoil after the school board debated to renew his contract months after he and his players won the state title.
