Dripping Springs is up five spots in the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Tigers sit at No. 13 after their 24-6 win over former No. 11 Lake Travis. The loss drops the Cavaliers to No. 14 in our rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

The week ahead could be called the biggest of the season with showdowns between No. 1 Duncanville and No. 2 DeSoto and No. 3 North Shore hosting No. 5 Atascocita. Both of those games will decide district championships.
