East and West to play for Alaska Division I high school football championship

It will be an all-Anchorage Division I state final next week when East, No. 1 in the High School Football America Alaska Top 5, takes on West.

East ran the ball 61 times in a 34-14 win over Colony, which entered the game ranked No. 4 in our Alaska Top 5. West improved to 6-4 by shocking defending Division I champ Bartlett 39-35 in a rematch of last year’s title game.
