As we head into the postseason, East St. Louis is the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Flyers ascend to the top of our statewide rankings after last week’s No. 1 Loyola Academy lost to Chicago Mount Carmel 42-37. That win gave the Caravan the Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference Blue Division title and this week’s No. 2 ranking.
Marist blasted its way into the Top 10 at No. 5 after knocking-off Brother Rice 34-16. BR falls from No. 5 to No. 6 in the latest rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.
