Having grown-up in Easton, Pennsylvania, I am hard pressed to say there is a better Turkey Day rivalry than Easton (Pennsylvania) and Phillipsburg (New Jersey) or to keep the P’burg fans happy Phillipsburg and Easton.  The two communities that are only separated by the Delaware River gathered at Lafayette, College in Easton, Pennsylvania to watch their favorites play for the 109th time on Thursday.

In the end, it was the Easton fans that are going home happier after the Red Rovers pitched a 26-0 shutout.

Easton (9-4) finished its season with an impressive defensive performance.  The Red Rovers picked-up two defensive scores in the second half to seal the victory.  EJ Simmons recovered a fumbled snap off a punt and ran it back nine yards for a score and Nathan Moser had a Pick 6, which gave Easton a 62-42 lead in the series, which also has had five ties.
