New York’s Erasmus Hall beat 40 schools from Connecticut, New Jersey and the Empire State to win the New York Jets 11-On High School Football Tournament at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.

Erasmus Hall won the 7-on-7 tournament, defeating Immaculate Conception High School in the
championship game, 19-8. St. Peter’s Preparatory School took first in the lineman challenge. Both Erasmus and St. Peter’s are invited to attend the New York Jets vs. Atlanta Falcons Week Two preseason game, the Jets designated Play Football game, which celebrates youth football on all levels. Both high schools will be recognized during the game.

The Jets hosted the first round of the tournament on Friday, July 8th. The final eight teams moved on to compete in the final rounds on Sunday, July 10th. Those eight teams participated in both the 7-on-7 tournament as well as the lineman challenge. The lineman challenge consisted of strength, agility, and skill based competitions.

Every participant received a pair of Jets branded Nike athletic shorts. The players from each of the final eight schools received Jets 11-ON shirts, courtesy of Nike.
