Escambia wins Jacksonville Jaguars Panhandle 11-ON 7-on-7 passing tournament

Escambia beat Gulf Breeze 20-15 in the championship game of Thursday’s Jacksonville Jaguars Panhandle 11-ON 7-on-7 passing tournament at Choctawhatchee High School. The Gators won the title with a perfect 7-0 record.

Host Choctawhatchee, ranked No. 283 in the High School Football America 300 preseason national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, won the Linemen Challenge.

The event was the fourth 11-ON event put on by the Jags over the last month. All four winners will be recognized at the team’s August 26 Play Football exhibition game against the Miami Dolphins.

In addition to the finalists, the tournament featured Bay, Choctawhatchee, Milton, Mosley, Pensacola and Pine Forest high schools.
