Eureka wins Nevada 1A high school football championship

Eureka won its first Nevada high school football championship since 1999 with a 34-32 win over Pahranagat Valley for the state’s 1A title. The win capped a perfect 11-0 season for the Vandals.

Pahranagat Valley entered the contest having won 14 of the last 16 8-man titles.
