Milton (Georgia) finishes 2024 as the No. 1 Public School in America. The Eagles, who finished No. 2 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, won the Georgia 5A state championship.

In the High School Football America Public Schools 100, Milton is one of 15 teams from the Peach State. Georgia 6A champ Grayson is No. 5 in the nation, followed by Carrollton at No. 8 and Buford at No. 9. Lee County is the fifth highest ranked public school in the state, sitting at No. 25 in the nation.

Florida leads the Public 100 with 21 teams.

Venice is the No. 2 public school in the country. The Indians won Florida’s 7A state championship with their only loss coming against IMG Academy.

Jones is the second highest ranked Florida public school at No. 14, followed by Lakeland at No. 16, 2A champ Cocoa at No. 18 and 3A champ Miami Northwestern at No. 19.

Texas has the second-most Public 100 teams. Class 6A Division I champ North Crowley is the top team of the 19 teams from the Lone Star State.

Following North Crowley is Duncanville at No. 4, Westlake at No. 13, North Shore at No. 15 and Atascocita at No. 17.
