Joplin stands at No. 8 after opening with an easy win over Branson.
Top-ranked CBC is off to a solid start. The Cadets beat nationally-ranked Milton (Georgia) at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton Ohio.
This week, CBC takes-on Illinois-power East St. Louis. The Flyers enter the game No. 59 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings. Last week, ESL almost upset No. 4 St. Frances Academy from Baltimore, Maryland.
CBC is currently No. 60 in the HSFA 300.
In the only Top 10 head-to-head last week, No. 2 Liberty North beat No. 3 Lee’s Summit North 17-7.
After No. 4 De Smet opened with a loss to nationally-ranked Springfield (Ohio), the Saints will take-on national-power IMG Academy this weekend.
