Since not every team played Labor Day weekend, we decided to wait until the end of Week 2 before posting our first in-season High School Football America New York Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football.

Iona Prep remains No. 1 despite losing to Ohio-power Archbishop Hoban in its season-opener. The Gaels bounced back with a solid 27-0 shutout of preseason No. 9 Cardinal Hayes.

This week, IP plays New Jersey’s Don Bosco Prep, ranked No. 61 in our national rankings. The Gaels are currently ranked No. 150 in the High School Football America 300.

Archbishop Stepinac moves-up a spot to No. 2 after an 2-0 start that includes a win over preseason No. 5 Monsignor Farrell.

Kellenberg Memorial makes its first-ever appearance in our Top 10 after beating preseason No. 2 St. Francis (Hamburg) 21-18. The Firebirds are No. 6 this week.

University Prep from Rochester is also paying its first visit to our Top 10 at No. 9.
