Top-ranked Catholic Memorial is off-and-rolling in 2023. The Knights sit at No. 1 in the first in-season High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football, after opening with a 41-14 win over Mansfield.
This week CM heads to Florida to play Cardinal Newman, in the first of two games against an out-of-state opponent. The Knights will play Hamburg, New York’s St. Francis on September 23.
No. 2 St. John’s Prep will try to go to 2-0 this week when it plays No. 5 Central Catholic, which dropped its opener to No. 3 Springfield Central. This week, Central will play nationally-ranked Iona Prep from New York.
