High school football fans will be getting a huge treat Friday night on FloFootball. The digital platform will be streaming three big games in the High School Football America 100 national rankings Friday night.

Starting at 7 P.M. Eastern, FloFootball will air No. 7 Gonzaga (Washington, DC) at No. 49 St. Joseph’s Prep and No. 30 St. Frances Academy (Maryland) at No. 60 Good Counsel (Maryland). At 7:30 P.M. Eastern, No. 23 Buford (Georgia) will host No. 59 Chaminade-Madonna (Florida) in a big Florida/Georgia battle

In Philadelphia at historic Franklin Field, St. Joe’s will be trying to rebound from its 18-game win streak being snapped last week by Milton (Georgia). Gonzaga brings a 3-0 record into the game.

Gonzaga’s defense has been solid in the early going with two shutouts. The Eagles have outscored opponents 79-7.

Good Counsel and St. Frances Academy are meeting for the second time in four months, since Maryland moved its 2020 high school football season to this past spring. GC won that contest 27-14.

As far as Friday night’s game, SFA enters the contest ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Maryland Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. Good Counsel is ranked No. 2 in the state.

Buford has been on a steady climb in the national rankings throughout the Wolves’ 3-0 start. It will be Buford’s second straight game against a strong out-of-state opponent. Last week, the Wolves beat North Carolina’s Myers Park 44-17.

Chaminade-Madonna is 2-1 while playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation. The Lions are coming-off a 33-17 win over nationally-ranked Columbus (Miami, Florida). Two weeks ago, C-M lost a close 26-24 decision to American Heritage of Plantation, Florida.

Chaminade-Madonna’s top players are EDGE rusher Kenyatta Jackson, who has 17 tackles, four for loss, in the Lions first three games, and cornerback Ryan Turner, who has verbally committed to Ohio State. Cornerback Brian Dilworth is a 3-star recruit with 18 college football scholarship offers.

On Saturday, No. 40 St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC) hosts Virginia’s Life Christian Academy.

SJC is off to a great 3-0 start with wins over teams from three different states. The Cadets opened with a 27-6 win over New Jersey’s Don Bosco Prep. They followed that with a 33-0 shutout of Butler from North Carolina. Last week, St. John’s beat Cardinal Hayes (New York) 38-7

3-star cornerback Joshua Thompson leads the defense. Thompson is verbally-committed to Stanford. Another stud on defense is EDGE rusher Isaiah Smith, who is headed to SMU.

Life Christian plays one of the toughest high school football schedules in the nation. The Eagles are led by 3-star EDGE rusher D’Andre Martin, a Virginia Tech-recruit. Martin is the No. 32 recruit in Virginia in the Class of 2022, according to the 247sports.com Composite Rankings.
