IMG Academy’s No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Florida High School Football Top 25 will be challenged this weekend when the Ascenders travel north to play St. Joseph’s Prep (Pennsylvania). Both teams are highly-ranked in our High School Football America 100 national rankings.
IMG will enter the contest ranked No. 4 nationally, while St. Joe’s is No. 12, coming-off an impressive win over St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC) that was ranked No. 3 coming into last weekend’s game.
Last weekend, IMG picked-up an impressive win over No. 3 Miami Northwestern.
There are three big Top 25 matchups in-state that will shape next week’s ranking that are created with our proprietary algorithm — No. 7 Carol City at No. 9 Chaminade-Madonna, No. 10 American Heritage (Plantation) at No. 22 Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville) and No. 20 Booker T. Washington (Miami) at No. 15 Columbus.
New to the rankings this week are Edgewater at No. 21 and Palmetto at No. 25.
