Jacksonville’s Trinity Christian Academy shakes-up the latest High School Football America Florida High School Football Top 25. The Conquistadors 42-21 upset of Carol City moves TCA back into the statewide rankings at No. 16 . Defending 8A state champ Mandarin drops-out of the Top 25 after its second straight loss of the season.
Carol City, which has played one of the toughest schedules in the nation, falls from No. 6 to No. 8 this week. The Chiefs play St. Thomas Aquinas, currently ranked No. 6 in the High School Football America 100.
Carol City has only played teams ranked No. 111 or higher in our national rankings.
Booker T. Washington (Miami) moves up two spots this week to No. 13. The Tornadoes will test that ranking this week when it plays No. 1 IMG Academy, which is currently ranked No. 3 in the HSFA 100. BTW is currently ranked at No. 101 nationally.
Edgewater moves-up two spots this week to No. 19. This week, the Eagles will be tested by No. 20 Wekiva in a battle of unbeatens.
