There are lots of changes in the latest High School Football America Florida Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
The big shake-up is caused by the Florida High School Athletic Association stripping No. 5 Miami Central and No. 12 The First Academy of eight wins each. The forfeits were the result of both teams using an ineligible player. In the case of TFA, they were found to have used multiple ineligible players.
On the field, West Boca Raton makes its first-ever appearance in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. The Bulls sit at No. 19 at beating Atlantic (Delray Beach) 28-14. The loss drops Atlantic to No. 20. It was the first loss of the year for the Eagles, since they received a forfeit victory from The First Academy.
