For the first time in 32 years, Bennington wins Nebraska high school football title

For the first time since 1989, Bennington is a Nebraska high school football champ. The Badgers beat Aurora 42-14 Monday night at Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

Dylan Mostek led the way by rushing for 218 yards on 20 carries scoring four touchdowns. Mostek broke the Nebraska 11-man single-season rushing record, finishing the season with 3,090 yards.

Bennington finishes a perfect 13-0. Aurora wraps-up 2021 with a 10-3 record.
