For the first time in 45 years, Andalusia is an Alabama high school football state champ

Andalusia beat Cherokee County 28-7 Friday at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium to win Alabama’s 4A high school football championship. It was the Bulldogs first title since winning back-to-back titles in 1976 and 1977.

Senior running back Dorean Crittenden gained 246 yards on the ground on 31 carries. He scored both of teem’s second half TDs.
