The number 61 was put to rest for Albany High School Wednesday night at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Albany won its first Texas high school football title in 61 years with a 41-21 win over Mart in the Class 2A Division II title game. The last football state title was in ’61.
