The quarterbacks at Franklin High School (Tennessee) will get quite a treat this year with position advice from former NFL QB Kerry Collins. The 17-year NFL veteran will be Franklin’s volunteer quarterback coach.

Franklin High is located south of Nashville where Collins spent five seasons (2006-2010) with the Tennessee Titans. The Pennsylvania native joined the Titans after entering the National Football League as the fifth overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

Collins played his high school ball at Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pennsylvania. During his senior season, the three-sports athlete led his school to a runner-up finish in the state’s largest classification. He was named first team all-state after completing 101-of-208 passes for 2,043 yards with 17 touchdowns.
