After several days of hearing about their new head coach, who used to be the main man with the Green Bay Packers, Nauset High School players got to hear from Mike Sherman himself on Thursday.

WickedLocal.com reports that Sherman, who was also the head coach at Texas A&M, spoke with his new players for 45 minutes.

Here’s what the website is reporting that Sherman told his players:

“Nauset is a special place, and I’m honored to be here, but we need to put the work in. If we want to pass the ball in games, we have to throw the ball accurately  and be able to catch the ball in practice. Same thing on defense, if we want to play an aggressive style of defense, they we need to be able to get to the quarterback.”
