If Friday Night Lights brightening skies across the nation during the Be the Light campaign wasn’t enough to bring a smile to one’s face, in Pennsylvania Mother Nature decided to brighten things a bit more with a mid-April snow squall.
At 8:20 P.M. (2020 Military time) high schools across the nation last night turned-on their football stadium lights to honor the Class of 2020 whose seniors lost opportunities due to the coronavirus shutdown.
The lights stayed on for 20 minutes with the scoreboards displaying the score as 20-20 in honor of this year’s graduating class. In addition, the down and distance was set at 4th-and-19 to signify that the coronavirus is on its final down.
