Two big head-to-head head matchups in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25 lived-up to there billings
No. 2 St. Edward nipped No. 5 Massillon Washington 24-23 and defending Division II champ La Salle, ranked No. 3 in our preseason rankings also picked-up a one-point victory (53-52) over No. 8 Elder.
Former Colerain head coach Tom Bolden is smiling this week after his new team Lakota West topped No. 13 Colerain 10-0. The win snapped Colerain’s 83-game Greater Miami Conference win streak. Lakota West moves-up to No. 10 this week.
In the two other Top 25 head-to-heads, No. 4 Pickerington Central beat No. 19 Pickerington North 35-9 and No. 18 Springfield beat No. 21 Wayne (Huber Heights) 21-14.
