Fyffe wins 3rd straight Alabama high school football championship with 45th straight win

Fyffe capped a its third straight 15-0 season Thursday when a 21-16 over Montgomery Catholic for Alabama’s Class 3A state championship at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Devils have now won four titles in five years under coach Paul Benefield. This was the school’s first 3A title after the last two coming in Class 2A.

Montgomery Catholic got out to a 16-0 lead in the first quarter.
