Gardner Edgerton climbs to the top of Kansas 6A high school football

For the first time ever, Gardner Edgerton is a Kansas high school football champ. Saturday, the Trailblazers beat Derby 22-19 to capture the Kansas Class 6A high school football title.

Gardner Edgerton junior quarterback Bravin Powell ran for 105 yards and threw for 104 in the victory. He also scored the teams’s three TDs and a two-point conversion.
