Georgia cancels high school football scrimmages, but continues toward September 4 Kickoff Weekend

There will not be any high school football scrimmages leading up to the 2020 Georgia high school football season. On Thursday, the Georgia High School Association announced that it’s cancelling scrimmages that were set for August 21 and August 28.

The GHSA did reiterate that is still moving forward with kicking-off the regular season on September 4.
