It was a fairly quiet week in the High School Football America Georgia Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. Most of the changes are small and in the middle of the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Reigning 5A champ Coffee gets a one spot bump to No. 9 after beating Florida’s Gadsden County, which entered the game ranked No. 160 in the HSFA 300. This week, Coffee is ranked No. 69 in America, a five spot jump from the previous week.

Lee County moves up two spots to No. 15 after beating former No. 16 Colquitt County 47-35. The Trojans also moved up 26 spots in the national rankings to No. 107.

This week’s big game will be between No. 16 Walton and No. 22 North Cobb. It will be 6A Region 5 opener for both teams.
