Parkview is this week’s big mover after beating former No. 4 Colquitt County 40-21. The Panthers jump from No. 9 to No. 5 in the latest rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.
Up next for Parkview is No. 15 Archer in the quarters. All four 7A quarterfinal matchups feature head-to-head Top 25 matchups — No. Lowndes vs. No. 4 Grayson, No. 2 McEachern vs. No. 8 North Gwinnett and No. 3 Marietta going against No. 14 Mill Creek.
In 6A, there’s a huge clash between No. 12 Dacula and two-time defending state champ Lee County, which is ranked No. 18 heading into their quarterfinal showdown.
And, there’s a big head-to-head showdown in AAAA between No. 9 Cartersville and No. 22 Woodward Academy. Both teams enter the game undefeated.
