McEachern also climbed back into the national rankings at No. 87 after starting the year at No. 85 before losing to Colquitt County in the Corky Kell Classic. Archer, another Preseason 100 team that dropped-out after a Corky Kell loss to Milton, also returns to the HSFA 100 this week, which gives Georgia eleven teams in the national rankings.
New to the rankings this week is Tift County at No. 23.
This week’s Game of the Week will feature No. 4 Walton taking-on defending 7A champ North Gwinnett, ranked No. 5 in the statewide rankings this week.
