Gilmer captures first Texas high school football championship since 2014

After a 7-3 regular season, Gilmer hoisted the Class 4A Division II state championship trophy Friday night at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Buckeyes handed Bellville its first loss (28-26) of the season to capture the school’s fourth overall state title, the first since 2014.
