Greenwood wins Arkansas 6A high school football championship

After three straight runner-up finishes, Greenwood finally another won the 6A championship Saturday with a 41-23 win over Little Rock Christian at War Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

Bulldog sophomore quarterback Kane Archer was the game’s Most Valuable Player after completing 22 of his 29 pass attempts for 186 yards with two touchdowns. He also ran for 93 yards and a score.

Greenwood now owns 11 overall state football titles.
