Hamlin captures South Dakota 9AA high school football championship

For the first time since 2014, Hamlin is a South Dakota high school football champ. Thursday, the Chargers beat Parkston 32-8 to win the state’s 9AA state title at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.

Jackson Wadworth was named the game Joe Robbie MVP award winner and was named the game’s Outstanding Back. Wadsworth threw for 216-yards and a score.

Boden Stevenson ran for 57-yards and two touchdowns.
