Handley wins Alabama 4A state championship

Led by senior running back and game MVP Tae Meadows, Handley beat Gordo 35-20 for the Class 4A state title at Bryant-Denny Stadium Friday. Meadows carried the ball 38 times for 264 yards with four touchdowns.

The title is the third for Handley since 2011.
