There are no changes in the latest High School Football America Hawaii Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, even though three of the top five teams lost to opponents in our national rankings
In a battle of defending champs, top-ranked Kahuku lost to Nevada champ Bishop Gorman 33-7. Gorman entered the game ranked No. 2 in the HSFA 300 national rankings.
No. 3 Puanhou lost to No. 27 Sierra Canyon (California) 30-7
No. 6 Kamehameha Kapalama dropped a 41-7 decision to No. 33 Mission Viejo (California).
No. 2 Mililani edged No. 5 Saint Louis. It was the Crusaders second straight narrow loss. Last week, they lost 14-13 to Kahuku.
This week’s big game will be between No. 3 Punahou and No. 4 Campbell.
