Hawley is the 2022 Texas Class 2A Division I high school football champ after a 54-28 win over Refugio at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The title is the first-ever for the school.
Hawley jumped-out to a 34-13 lead at the half and never looked back. Bearcats running back Austin Cumpton had 151 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
